Presentation

The Four European MRS Chapters (Paris/France, Cologne/Germany, Hasselth/Belgium, Genova/Italy) are organizing a first workshop, of a long series, in Paris from 19th to 22nd March 2024. This workshop aims to highlight the interaction between different materials science and engineering actors. It is of course open to worldwide material scientists, faculties, engineers and students. For this first edition, eight topics have been selected:

  • nanomedicine,
  • carbon-based materials,
  • inorganic materials for energy,
  • ceramics for sustainable future,
  • high-entropy alloys and nanoalloys,
  • machine learning for material science, and
  • nanomagnetism

and international experts were invited.

Along three full days in Paris, experts and young scientists will meet together and exchange, during oral and poster communications. A very convivial poster session on a boat along the Seine river will be thus organized combining cultural and scientific activities. Networking will be also promoted, scientific collaborations, student exchanges, career opportunities and others will be thus discussed paving the bridge between all the represented communities.

Registrations are open  !
